Somas Kaneshapillai

Somas Kaneshapillai has called Scarborough home for more than 40 years. He raised his family here, built his career here, and has watched this community grow.

For over 40 years, Somas has worked as an accountant in the Greater Toronto Area, helping people and businesses manage their money with honesty and care. That same discipline is what he wants to bring to City Hall: budgets that are transparent, spending that is questioned, and results that residents can actually see.

He is running for City Councillor in Ward 25 Scarborough-Rouge Park because he believes residents deserve a representative who listens, follows through, and does not make excuses.
